The best episode of the season sets up a shocking angle that should've been followed through on. With phenomenal action sequences and a masterful plan by Jigsaw. We see Frank near physical defeat before it all unravels wonderfully as Jigsaw works to take away what separates Frank from Russo - his code. - DirectorMeera MenonStarsJon BernthalBen BarnesAmber Rose RevahAmy rushes to protect Frank, who lies defenseless in a hospital. Pilgrim gets some crushing news, and Karen Page calls in a favor.Rating: 9.0
Karen's return to support Frank is powered by excellent characterisation and brilliant performances from all of Frank's powerful ladies. While I was disappointing that the angle setup in the previous episode was abandoned, the twist on its own was surprising and well written, if a little cowardly. - DirectorStephen KayStarsJon BernthalBen BarnesAmber Rose RevahBuckle up -- Mahoney and Frank are about to take a ride to remember. Amy makes an entrance, Russo cashes out, and Madani comes clean to Krista.Rating: 9.0
An explosive episode which sees Frank once again in dire straights. Mahoney has never been my favourite character but her disposal of Krista and surprising shots at Russo made for a brilliant end to this seasons penultimate episode. - DirectorJeremy WebbStarsJon BernthalBen BarnesAmber Rose RevahFrank, Pilgrim, Madani, Russo, Amy, Curt and the Schultz family. No bullet is left unspent as season two comes to an explosive conclusion.Rating: 9.3
Wrapped up in a brilliantly bloody bow, Punisher's second (and perhaps last) season leaves viewers wanting more, but ends satisfyingly enough if it is indeed the series finale. The overall arc this season has been a bit muddled but the finale finally ties it all together with another phenomenal performance from Bernthal.
