Well shot with some decent synth music, but the movie is entirely too slow and makes little sense. - DirectorCarles TorrensStarsDominic MonaghanKsenia SoloJennette McCurdyA man bumps into an old crush and holds her captive underneath the animal shelter where he works.DATE: 10/01 RATING: 6/10

Pretty standard made-for-tv horror movie. Nothing special, but worth a look if you're in that kinda mood. - DirectorMike FlanaganStarsCarla GuginoBruce GreenwoodChiara AureliaA couple tries to spice up their marriage in a remote lake house. After the husband dies unexpectedly, the wife is left handcuffed to their bed frame and must fight to survive and break free.DATE: 10/02 RATING: 7/10 (LOW 7)
Some pacing issues, which is my biggest complaint, but gets better and creepier as time goes on. - DirectorMichael WinnerStarsRachael KellyDavid Allen BrooksMarie MastersA teenaged girl discovers that her stepfather is trying to murder her and her mother, but when she tells people, no one will believe her.DATE: 10/02 RATING: 6/10 (HIGH 6)
Surprisingly decent and underrated flick. Turned into a home invasion thriller in the 3rd act, which you didn't see much of at the time. - DirectorPeter ManoogianStarsSam HenningsAndrea RothDane WitherspoonThe citizens of Comet Valley are being taken over by seeds from an alien plant that has taken root there. A sheriff investigates the strange goings-on.DATE: 10/03 RATING: 5/10

O'BannonStarsAlly SheedyLauren HuttonMichael O'KeefePsychic Cayce Bridges helps police solve murders by mentally linking with the murderer. Then she discovers a murderer with the same talent - who wants to share the fear of his victims with her.DATE: 10/04 RATING: 7/10
Surprisingly good movie. Really interesting cat-and-mouse game between the psychic lead and the psychic killer. I'd recommend this underrated gem. - DirectorEdward Evers-SwindellStarsSiwan MorrisGareth David-LloydJoanna IgnaczewskaThe spirit of a murdered girl returns with a message for the staff of a local radio station.DATE: 10/04 RATING: 5/10 (LOW 5)
Movie is all over the place: There's a masked killer, a ghost haunting people, a radio station connecting with a voice beyond the grave and a crippled boy who gets possessed out've nowhere, WTF?? And the twist is one huge plot hole. Oh well, at least it kept my interest. - DirectorHunter AdamsStarsTed LevineSamantha IslerDanny GoldringAfter her brother's tragic death, a young girl is approached by three men who claim they can bring her brother back to life.DATE: 10/04 RATING: 5/10
More of a mystery thriller than a horror film and a really really slow one at that. I literally fell asleep on three separate occasions trying to watch this. - DirectorDouglas JacksonStarsJennifer RubinFrançoise RobertsonNick MancusoStuck in the attic of his house, a paranoid man recounts several different tales to an unknown listener in order to explain the dangers of the world.DATE: 10/05 RATING: 5/10 (HIGH 5)'
Movie was an okay anthology. The stories were pretty tame, but interesting. It had a made-for-tv look and feel to it, but there was lots of sex and nudity in the last story, so I dunno. If you like anthologies I'd say it's worth a look, but if you're looking for an actual good or scary movie I'd recommend passing on this. - DirectorStuart GordonStarsAnthony PerkinsMia SaraRobert ReynoldsThe Daughter of Darkness is an atmospheric, sub-hallucinogenic venture into the world of the unknown. The enigma facing the young woman is the identity of her father. Unfortunately for her she becomes drawn into a small Romanian underworld of brooding menace, darkness, torture chambers and bizarrely over make-overed vampires. The moody undertones and well chosen locations are certainly a bonus as is the comically funny finale.DATE: 10/05 RATING: 4/10 (HIGH 4)
Movie was boring as hell. Decent cast though. - DirectorRichard StylesStarsTony MarchLisa StahlTom LawWhen four young college girls stumble upon a murder, they find themselves targeted by a killer who will stop at nothing to silence them.DATE: 10/06 RATING: 5/10 (HIGH 5)
More of a supsense thriller than a horror flick. The pacing is my biggest complaint, next to the tame deaths. - DirectorMark ByersStarsCatherine BachCharlene DallasNicholas GuestTwo investigative reporters track down reports of giant rats in a city sewer system.DATE: 10/06 RATING: 5/10 (LOW 5)
A silly crime movie masquerading as a horror flick. Ignoring that fact, I've seen worse. - DirectorCraig PryceStarsStephen McHattieScott WickwareBrion JamesSomething is alive beneath the surface of the graveyard. Something with the power to destroy and the power to heal. One man, a cop, is determined to kill this mysterious creature. Another, a scientist, is determined to capture and save this miraculous being. Stalking the creature in it's subterranean habitat, neither man is aware of the battle they are about to start. A battle for science, survival and revenge.DATE: 10/06 RATING: 6/10
I dunno how I missed this creature feature over the years, because it's actually pretty decent. Pacing also isn't bad and the creature was kinda cheesy but at least it was all practical. And the movie had a pre-Scream Neve Campbell, which was a surprise. An enjoyable watch overall. - DirectorChris PeckoverStarsOlivia DeJongeLevi MillerEd OxenbouldOn a quiet suburban street, a babysitter must defend a twelve-year-old boy from intruders, only to discover it's far from a normal home invasion.DATE: 10/07 RATING: 7/10

Along the way, she will find an unmarked 13th floor where a murderer is on the loose.DATE: 10/07 RATING: 6/10 (LOW 6)
Didn't realize I had already seen this until much later in. I must've caught it when it aired on TV back in the day. Either way, it's a bit slow but a decent made-for-TV movie. - DirectorRupert HitzigStarsDerek RydallAllen GarfieldKathleen BaileyA student known for telling stories witnesses a murder, the latest in a series of satanic killings of hookers.DATE: 10/07 RATING: 5/10 (LOW 5)
This movie was like a less fun Fright Night ripoff and replace vampires with Satanists and ritual sacrifice. - DirectorFrank PattersonStarsWiley M. PickettLeslie MullinJon LangioneA group of young friends go hunting during their holidays near a small town in Texas, where the father of one of them own a piece of land. But the place has a legend. Typical 80's "slasher" schlock. The Native American killer looked like some greased up gym rat with a bow and arrow. Movie was lame and so were the deaths. - DirectorArmand WestonStarsRobin GrovesChristopher LoomisMichael David LallyA writer suffering from agoraphobia rents an isolated house so she can concentrate on her writing. She doesn't know that the house is a former brothel, and is inhabited by the ghosts of dead prostitutes.DATE: 10/08 RATING: 4/10

An hour of dullness with very little happening, while the last 30 is actually a decent slasher. It's just too bad they couldn't get the pacing right earlier on, otherwise this would've been a decent watch. - DirectorTodd DurhamWorth KeeterThom McIntyreStarsFran TaylorKevin CampbellRobert Bloodworth"Tales of the Third Dimension" was a 1984 hosted horror anthology 3-D movie; with the skeleton "Igor" as host. The movie has three scary tales.DATE: 10/08 RATING: 4/10
This Tales From the Crypt ripoff offered some terribly tame stories, however the last one was pretty amusing with the grandma trying to kill her grandkids. - DirectorBrenton SpencerStarsJ.H. WymanKim CoatesAndrea RothTime stops at midnight at the Senior Prom for five students, one murderous counselor, and John. They must find the courage to face themselves or, when time starts again, they may find that they are joining John's Club. All you have to do is commit murder... or suicide.DATE: 10/08 RATING: 5/10
Decent cast, but some serious pacing issues. Didn't care much for the story either. Some okay effects though.
