- Kendrick Castillo was three days away from graduation from STEM School Highlands Ranch in Colorado. He had a dream to become a Knight of Columbus and an engineer. However, on May 7, 2019, what began as a normal school day ended in tragedy when another student pulled out a gun. Kendrick charged the gunman, giving his life to shield others. He sacrificed his own life, but his actions saved many lives and would inspire a nation.

- Father Chuck Dornquast was ordained a priest in 2015 and then became the Catholic chaplain of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He had the privilege of serving as chaplain during the team's Super Bowl championship season last year. As vocation director for the Diocese of St. Petersburg, Father Dornquast also mentors young men discerning a call to the priesthood.

As a Knight of Columbus, he feels affirmed in his vocation and desire to serve God.

When the COVID-19 pandemic restricted children in his community of Lithia Springs, Georgia, to remote learning, David wanted to help. A gifted woodworker, he gathered 15 brother Knights to build desks for children to be able to properly do their schoolwork from home. The Knights distributed the desks to many grateful families, making a difference in many children's lives. David believes that everyone has a talent from God, and thus it is our duty to share that gift with those in need.

- Fr. Emil Kapaun was a military chaplain who served in both World War II and the Korean war. He was imprisoned in the Korean war and died on one of the prison camps there. After countless years Fr. Kapaun's remains were finally positively identified. We journeyed with the Diocese of Wichita and his surviving family members to Hawaii to receive the remains and then follow them and document the military transfers back to his home diocese in Wichita, Kansas. It is truly a privilege to be able to capture this once in a lifetime experience and honor a war hero and a servant of God and finally bring him home at long last.

This video shows forth that love and care that the Dominican Sisters of Hawthorne provide and their vocation to provide God's love for those who desperately need them. Their charism is to focus on caring for those at the end of their life, in hopes that their patients can know that they are loved even in their last moments. They provide their patients with a sense of home and family life in their final time. A sense that they are not just falling into an empty space, but somebody is there holding them. We all want to receive love and everyone deserves love even until our final moments.

After major complications during their son's birth, the couple was told their baby would suffer long-term brain trauma. They attribute their son's miraculous recovery to Our Lady of Lourdes, and in 2019, had the opportunity to visit the international shrine in thanksgiving - as participants of the Warriors to Lourdes pilgrimage, which brings military personnel and their families to Lourdes, France for rest, prayer and healing.
