But can he find the perfect pair of shoes for Telly? Plus, join Cookie Monster as he discovers the perils of having the "cookie touch!"
- A summer-long, multimedia campaign using on-air and online resources to inspire kids to make healthy choices in the summer. The show is hosted by Sesame Street's Grover. Grover's role is to pop in and encourage children to run, jump, dance and play. Each week on a Monday throughout the summer, episodes from Sesame Street, Dragon Tales, and Barney, among others on PBS Kids, will encourage kids to make healthy choices. Activities on PBSKids.org will change weekly to coincide with the weekly episode themes and will also feature healthy recipes and games about hygiene, nutrition, movement and sports.
- Two beatniks stand together on the street, one blowing into a horn --the end of which disappears off-screen, and the other tapping his foot in time to the music. The horn-blowing beatnik blows a huge breath of air into the trumpet mouthpiece, sending a huge bulge traveling along the serpentine length of the trumpet. The other beatnik runs in pursuit of the traveling bulge, arriving at the end of the horn in time to hear a single note emerge and fall from the end of the horn.
- The annual July 4th concert to celebrate America's birthday, which is held on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C.
- An animated seal balances a ball on its nose in the center ring of a circus. An animated bear walks into frame, grabs the ball from the seal, and hops atop it, balancing on top of the ball, to the dismay of the seal. The bear and the seal battle for the use of the ball, until suddenly the seal gets an idea, which it whispers inaudibly to the bear. The bear climbs back atop the ball, and then the seal lifts the bear atop the ball up and balances the ball on its nose again. The bear shouts "cooperation!" with glee.
- Everyone is an Artist is a short, produced for Sesame Street, which features an ensemble of kids having a blast as they paint colorful pictures. The short appeared on it's own and also in the Cookie Thief, a special featuring Cookie Monster.
- As part of Sprout's holiday extravaganza, Elmo will host a marathon of holiday movies on Friday, December 23 and Saturday, December 24 beginning at 1:00 p.m. ET. Movies will include Caillou's Holiday Movie, Bob the Builder: Snowed Under, Barney's Christmas Star and Elmo's World: Happy Holidays.
