- Three autobiographical short films made over seven years about a young gay man coming to terms with his Catholic schooling, his homosexuality and guilt, his parents and their deaths, despair and loneliness.
- Interwoven memories: a boy's Catholic childhood, in middle-age caring for his beloved dying mother, and in old age dying alone in a hospital.
- This is the story of a young man (TONY). TONY is a frustrated musician. TONY is a difficult character to get along with. His long-suffering girlfriend gives up on him and this only adds to his sense of martyrdom. Even his friends are beginning to get bored with his self-pity. After confrontations with his girlfriend and her spiky friend TONY decides to forget his troubles by accepting a party invitation from his friend (VIC). But, true to form, TONY spends the evening in the kitchen, not mixing, and certainly not enjoying himself. When a girl tries to get him to dance he insults her - this in turn leads to retribution from her boyfriend.
- This film (which is silent apart from a song from the Easter Uprising of 1916 that it illustrates) uses only techniques available at the time, thereby giving the impression of what a Republican propaganda movie would have looked like had they the access to film making resources. Shot in black and white it has a hand-tinted section at the end which was quite common during this period.
