- "Shock Theatre" was a hosted horror movie show with Terry Bennett as "Marvin" and Joy Bennett as "Dear" on WBKB-TV, Channel 7 Chicago, Illinois, USA.
- One of the best children's shows ever. Garfield Goose was the self-proclaimed "King of the United States". His front man, Frazier Thomas would translate whatever any of the hand puppets "said". None of the puppets had a voice and only spoke through Mr. Thomas, whose role was the King's translator/ambassador. They would have guests and show cartoons, including old cartoons that everyone had seen over and over. The show appealed to all races and creeds, and although Garfield was sarcastic about everything, they never used the platform to be hurtful or to further any agendas. Mr. Thomas always would admonish Garfield for his remarks and show him feeling chagrined. The puppeteers could make the hand puppets actually show sorrow and glee, and all the emotions in between. All in all a wonderful children's show that, entertained as well as taught valuable lessons, easily on par with other shows like Kukla, Fran and Ollie (1947) and Shari Lewis's Lambchop.
- This daily WBKB channel 7 Chicago program was always on at 10am, Monday thru Friday. Aimed at preschool children, this show featured some of the most zaniest characters gathered around. All the creation of Terry Bennett, the host of the show. Imagine a home where everything is turn upside down. The doors, the tables, the window, everything. A living puppet named Pamela, played by Terry's real wife, Joy Bennett, could always be found at Jobblewocky Place. Along with a assortment of hand puppets and dummies created by Frank Marshall, the famous maker of wooden figures. Red Flannels, (Terry's 1st ventriloquist dummy), Timothy Timber (a sailor), Three Smart Men (3 heads on a shelf), Uncle Louie (a talking picture on the wall), Bertran Turtle, Mr. Shoe, a talking shoe (shoes have tongues so they should talk), Mr. Head (a box with a voice), Mr Engineer, Rusty Hinges (Red's nemesis), and a few others, were always present at Jobblewocky Place and all voiced by Terry Bennett himself. During the shows run Terry often wore a plain white or black shirt with a huge letter "J" on the front of it. Even though the skits were zany, they always taught good morals and good clean fun. Though some of the bits may have been over preschoolers young minds, they were always funny. As most of the time you would hear the camera crew and backstage laughing at the skits. Jobblewocky went off the air in 1961 despite excellent ratings. Terry Bennett went on to do the television show The Wacky World of Mr. B (1962)).
- Princess Mary and her loyal subjects greet young viewers to the castle every weekday, Monday thru Friday. Magic, stories, and laughter are sure to be about Princess Mary's Castle. On WBKB (before changing to ABC channel 7, Chicago)

- A live variety special with different segments (a "man on the street" live interview, newscast, variety acts). Sponsored by Philco.
- Teleplay divided into three acts. The first act concerns the modern problem of smokers in bed. It's finally decided in a funny way smokers in bed come to no good end. The second act deals with the husband and wife at the race track arguing over what horses to bet on in a comedic way. Third quarrel situation revolves around the husband at home trying to fix the plumbing.
- A parody of old-fashioned melodrama, in which a old couple is about to lose their farm due to the evil Gideon Goodblood.
- A half hour comedy about the zany antics that happened all around Mr. B. and how he dealt with it. If it could go wrong it did. Everyday simple things would always turn into something that takes longer to accomplish.
- A woman must decide whether to stay married to her husband (who is overseas in the army) or divorce him and marry a civilian.
