- Boy from a poor family loses his only asset: a colorless little horse that his imagination turns into a magical and colorful pretty stallion. To get his pet back, he leaves home and faces all dangers ahead with courage, getting involved in many adventures.

That moment was of utmost importance, since it revealed a Union leader, Luís Inácio "Lula" da Silva, who later was to become the President of Brazil. - In 1975 Brazil, some serious political conflicts were taking place in Brazilian society, naturally affecting the Universities. Military dictatorship suffered its first blow with the death of journalist Wladimir Herzog while he was imprisoned in DOI (an Information department, one of the landmarks of torture in Brazil). The death of such a well-known journalist resulted in protests all over the country, including the universities. At USP (São Paulo University), students on strike joined forces with other segments of society, demanding freedom, democracy and the right to organize. Also, the documentary comments on the the invasion of CRUSP (University of São Paulo's student lodgings) by repression forces.

- The murder of a worker, Nelson Pereira de Jesus, which happened in São Paulo in 1978, prompts an investigation into the motives and working conditions in a factory in the Brás neighborhood. Santo Dias, a labor leader who works at the same site, recounts the facts surrounding Nelson's death and offers his political views on the conditions of the workers in the Metalworkers' Union and other issues. In 1979 Santo Dias was also killed during a strike by a soldier of the Military Police.
