- A follow-up to the blockbuster movie of the same name, following the rich teenager Cher and her friends as they attend high school in Beverly Hills.
- A college student, branded a loser by his roommates and booted from the dorm, falls in love with a coed who has eyes for their condescending professor.
- A bachelor becomes the unwilling guardian of his autistic, intellectually disabled sister; then an experimental treatment works a dramatic change in her brain and his attitude.

- It's the first day of junior year in school and what to wear is the prime consideration. Then the girls have to arrive at the right time. In guidance class, Cher feels confronted when she is asked to map out her life for the next 10 years.
- Cher and Mel are in their new house in Bakersfield. Cher gets a job as a waitress and Mel looks for work. Meanwhile, Amber has a house-warming party in the ex-Horowitz mansion.
- Amber finds herself in traffic court and is found guilty. As part of her punishment, Amber has 100 hours of community service. This involves mentoring a young girl, a job for which she enlists the help of Cher and Dee.
- It's the end of the school year when Cher is shocked to find out that the Horowitzes are broke after Mel's business manager disappeared with all his money. Cher tries to help the family finances by having a yard sale.
- It's audition time for the the senior class play, Grease, and Dee wants to play the lead 'Sandy'. However, Cher gets the part, which upsets Dee. But somebody else also wants the part.
- Cher is upset when she is not accepted into Stanhope University. The problem is her English teacher, Mr Pimmler, who excels in putting students down. When she confronts him, he has a heart attack and dies.
- Cher and Dee are inspired to make stylish muff purses for their hands. Before long everybody at school wants one so Cher starts up a business making them. However, after selling them at a show the reality of running a business sets in.
- Oddrey was expelled from her previous school and has just transfered to Bronson Alcott High. After a bad encounter, Cher tries to befriend her. However, no matter what she tries to do, Cher only seems to make matters worse.
- It's the annual Bronson Alcott High valentines day dance. Amber becomes engaged to an elderly millionaire, and Cher and Dee feel that they must stop the marriage. Murray and Sean date a couple of unusual girls.
- When Cher is criticised by Mr. Hall as not living up to her potential, he suggests that she do some volunteer work to broaden her outlook. Cher and Dee end up beautifying a city park, which becomes a much bigger project than she expected.
- Cher is going to an 80s dance and is determined to leave with a boyfriend. She sees the man of her dreams across the dance floor but seems destined to be unable to meet him without being interrupted.
- When Cher's hair stylist ceases work, Cher is persuaded to go to Ka-feen, who gives her a disastrous shabob style. They are all are aghast at the result and her boyfriend drops her. Unfortunately, there is nothing she can do about it.
- Drivers Ed has started at school and Mel takes Cher on her first driving lesson. It turns out disastrously and Cher loses confidence. Soon everybody in the class has their licence except Cher. It takes a tragedy to inspire Cher.
- Cher and Dee are looking for a college to go to but Cher doesn't want to leave her father alone. They have to find somebody else to look after him.
- Rachel decides to look after her father and fixes him up with Sheila Kendall, the author of a book called 'First Kill All the Lawyers'. She is too successful and she suddenly finds herself being neglected.
- Dee and Murray have broken up and Cher unsuccessfully tries to get them back together. It then becomes a competition between them as they are determined to get a new date. The others help out at an old people's home and see their futures.
- The class is about to graduate and Dee is the valedictorian. However, she is finding it hard to come up with a subject. Sean is seen on TV coming out of his house, which is outside the Bronson Alcott High school zone.
- Cher is nominated for homecoming queen. Despite not being a cheerleader, she still becomes a finalist. It then becomes a battle between Cher and the cheerleaders led by Mrs. Mumford.
- It seems like fate has arrived when Cher is swept off her feet by Sonny in the local ice-cream parlor. Unfortunately, he is 20 years old and in college, and Cher hasn't told him that she is just 16.

- Dee is spending a lot of time with Murray and Cher feels left out. However, they have a very public fight and split up. Seeing how unhappy Dee becomes, Cher is determined to get them back together.
- When the school nerd, Marshall, saves Cher from a serious accident, she agrees to go to a sci-fi convention with him as a thank-you. Amber, Murray and Sean work at getting a fake ID.
- She is smitten by a new boy at Bronson Alcott High School, who also happens to be a gorgeous international model. Unfortunately, he happens to be a smoker. When he offers to quit for her, she is determined to help him.
- Everybody is preparing for the MTV dance party coming up but Cher is dateless, until a new boy joins the class. Cher arranges to meet in the modern dance class and they hit it off. He seems too good to be true, so what is his flaw?
- Dee's new boyfriend starts liking Cher instead and they kiss. This causes a moral dilemma for Cher. When she tells Dee they part company, until Amber steps in. Murray and Sean sign up to be on a TV reality show.
- Mel hires a pest exterminator to rid the Horowitz home of a squirrel. The exterminator turns out to be the former shop teacher Mr Hubley, who Cher and Dee got sacked. It turns out to be an eventful day.
- Murray is having trouble getting a girl friend and he believes it's because Dee is scaring them off. It turns out, Dee is scaring boys off as well. The gang work at softening Dee's image.
- Cher's 18th birthday is coming up and the big question is, how will the gang surprise her this year? But there is a bigger surprise to come.
- It's Christmas time and Cher finds a new BMW in the garage. Thinking it's hers. she takes it for a drive and has a minor accident. Murray takes her to a body shop man who sees the virgin Mary in the dent. Then things get complicated.
- With the SATs coming up, Dee and Cher are starting to realise that they need help. They ask Katie to tutor them. When the naive Katie is continually nauseated they realise something else is happening and decide to help her.
- Cher and Dee are at Amber's house doing homework when they find her parents in the middle of fight, which ends in divorce proceedings. Their subsequent antics makes the gang determined to get them back together.
- Mr Hall becomes ill and Cher is infatuated with his substitute. She decides that she needs to become more mature in order to attract his attention. But Cher finds this difficult to do after she is put on a budget by her father.

- The gang go to a salsa club and Cher falls for the lead singer. Coincidentally, he also turns out to be the Horowitz's fill-in pool boy. But will their love be able to conquer the cultural divide?
- The bodies keep coming and the gang have to find the murderer before they become the next victim. It becomes a memorable Halloween.
