- The abbreviated life of the 15th-century French heroine.
- A young woman is lured to the Yukon by a gambler with promises of marriage and a grubstake for a gold mine. She takes her ailing father with her, only to discover when she gets there that the gambler was lying to her and actually planned to sell her to a dance hall. She gathers her father and an old miner she has met, takes a dogsled and supplies from the gambler and the three of them head for the wilderness to look for a lost gold claim the old miner has been looking for.
- Bob Haynes, the unknown leader of an outlaw gang, has been offered the job of Deputy. When his men commit murder and robbery against his orders, he takes the job and brings them in. He then confesses he was one of them and the Sheriff is forced to arrest him leaving his fate up to the Judge.

He captures the miner and tries to get the mine's location from him. He also tells the daughter he will kill her father unless she marries him. After disposing of Le Roque's gang by accidentally setting off a explosive charge that kills them, Bob goes after Le Roque.

Heeding the advice, Todd heads for San Francisco's Barbary Coast, where he rents a room in a boarding house. A short time later, when a murdered man is found in Todd's room, he is accused of the crime. After a series of misadventures, Todd unmasks the real murderer, a cardsharp, and wins the love of the landlady's daughter.
