Grief is a peculiar emotion, and it hits people most bizarrely. People around us deal with grief in their own ways, and there needs to be no judgment passed based on how people deal with pain, which usually follows the loss of a loved one. Afterlife on Netflix is one of the few shows on Ott spaces that discusses how people deal with a personal tragedy. A Part of You, a Swedish Netflix original directed by Sigge Eklund, is about a young girl dealing with personal tragedy. This Netflix original is set to release on May 30th on the streaming platform.

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for the Station 19 series finale “One Last Time.”] In the Station 19 series finale, best friends and platonic soulmates Travis (Jay Hayden) and Vic (Barrett Doss) jetted off into the next chapter of their lives, heading to Washington, D.C., so Vic could lead the Crisis One program. Meanwhile, Maya (Danielle Savre) and Carina (Stefania Spampinato) learned they were expecting a baby. Station 19 is over, but could ABC explore a new chapter in the nation’s capital or focus on one of the show’s most beloved couples? Co-showrunners Peter Paige and Zoanne Clack responded to spinoff possibilities. “We’ve been pitched several spinoffs. Crisis One is one of them,” Paige told TV Insider. “There’s even a poster floating around the internet if you go on Twitter right now. We were also pitched a Fosters-like spinoff for Maya and Carina. I feel like there was a third one. We’ve heard several,...

A Part of You is a small Swedish Netflix original that covers the lives of several teenagers and a few adults who are dealing with something really heavy. A Part of You discusses the aftermath of the death of a loved one and the grief that overwhelms the people who lost them unexpectedly and tragically. There are several characters in the film, apart from the titular characters, who are deeply affected by this change in life. Friends and family play a huge role, and these characters are one of the many that try to give the woman a sense of direction.

Grief is personal and often indescribable, especially one that involves a permanent loss. Everyone around you assures you that you will eventually learn to cope with it, but no one has a guidebook to help you through the process. A Part of You (En Del Av Dig) is an ode to grief, to an unfathomable loss, and it revolves around how those who are subjected to it try and cope in ways that are beyond the understanding of others. Directed by Sigge Eklund and starring Felicia Maxime and Edvin Ryding, A Part of You gets the turmoil and the confusion around grief just right.

Nineteen may have signed off our screens, but its legacy lives forever.
It's the summation of Station 19 Season 7 Episode 10, which had the arduous task of wrapping up the series in a gratifying way to give viewers the closure they deserved despite the shocking cancelation.
And we got an emotional fest that attempted to honor the characters and fans.
It's a difficult installment even to discuss, or even worse, grade, because how do you place judgment on a series finale like this given the circumstances?
The entire trajectory of the series had to change on a whim to deliver a serviceable sendoff; all the while, there was still hardcore rallying to keep the series alive in some capacity.
Given the ending, it feels like a proper close to this chapter.
Vic: I'm going to miss this place.
Travis: I'm going to miss you.
Vic: So come with me.
Travis: I can't.

Exclusive: In 2017, Jason George left ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy to help launch its spinoff series, Station 19. For seven seasons, he was a series regular on the firefighter drama as Ben Warren while making frequent guest appearances on the mothership series. With Station 19 coming to an end, all signs point to him going back to Grey’s Anatomy, a return which the Station 19 finale helped set up.
According to sources, there is no deal in place and the exact capacity in which George would return to Grey’s Anatomy is unclear but talks are ongoing, and the intent is to have him back on the show where he has been since Season 6, including a series regular stint from S12-S14, before moving to Station 19. Reps for ABC and ABC Signature, which produces Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19, declined comment.
Rumblings about George potentially rejoining Grey’s Anatomy next season started in January.

Spoiler Alert: This interview contains spoilers for “One Last Time,” the series finale of ABC’s“Station 19,” now streaming on Hulu.
For a show that spent most of its time putting its characters in mortal danger, it’s remarkable that “Station 19” completed its series finale with nearly everyone alive and well — except, of course, for Kate (Kiele Sanchez), the newest addition to 19 who never did quite manage to become a part of the family. Kate got sucked up into a fire tornado — a firenado, perhaps — becoming the finale’s only casualty. Despite injuries and burns and smoke inhalation, everyone else lived on to firefight another day, with visions of their bright futures dancing ahead of them. After years of dealing with the harsh realities of firefighting, they all got their happy ending.

Spoiler Alert: The following reveals major plot points from ABC’s Station 19 series finale.
After 7 seasons, the time has finally come to say goodbye to Seattle’s hardest-working firefighters on ABC’s Station 19. As they say, all good things must come to an end. But, thanks to some gifts left behind in the finale by showrunners Peter Paige and Zoanne Clack and the writers, fans can expand on the firefighters’ stories well beyond tonight.
The episode titled “One Last Time” continues the story from last week’s episode as Station 19 is battling a raging wildfire targeting Seattle. Everyone is in danger but they’re keeping cool heads and working together to protect anyone else from getting hurt. In a particularly intense scene, the team has to take cover when a firestorm threatens everyone’s lives quickly. They get under aluminum fire shelters that they pull over themselves like a blanket.

Like a rallying cry, we're still chanting, Nineteen Forever.
Regardless of how things play out or whether the series has a shot at being rescued by Netflix or literally anyone else, Station 19 will live on in our hearts.

Our Station 19 Season 7 Episode 9 review acknowledged that this was arguably one of the season's strongest episodes.
They poured all the drama, angst, humor, love, nostalgia, and heart into an hour that embodied everything that Station 19 is about and what fans love most.
And now everything will come to an end with Station 19's fiery series finale, which will hopefully wrap up this lovely series in a way that can be satisfying for viewers even as they continue to lament this unforgivable cancellation that stings.

It is never easy to say goodbye to a show that you have watched for many years. Even though all the characters got their endings (or new beginnings), it can still feel like the show could have been so much more if it hadn't been cut short.
Unfortunately, there's nothing fans can do to bring the Grey's Anatomy spinoff, Station 19, back to ABC after it airs its final episode on May 30. What you can do, however, is honor the show by looking back at some of the highest-rated episodes of all time, as rated from great to excellent by IMDb.

Directed by none other than the star of both Grey's Anatomy and Station 19, Stefania Spampinato, this episode remains one of the most creatively impressive and emotional episodes of the show. With the 24-hour shift, the team went through all the ups and downs, while...

It's time to say goodbye to Station 19, and I am not ready.
Station 19 Season 7 Episode 9 was the first half of a two-part series finale, and this episode was heartbreaking in all the worst ways.
Vic's big Crisis One announcement left some members of the department reeling, especially Travis, and Maya and Carina faced an excruciating wait to find out if their IVF cycle was successful.
Finding out that Vic would be leaving Seattle to run Crisis One in D.C. wasn't a shock, but the thought of Nineteen without her is hard.
Hey, Shondaland, what are the odds we could get a Crisis One spinoff based in Washington, D.C., starring Barrett Doss?
Ideally, Travis would go with Vic, and then we wouldn't have to say goodbye to our favorite set of besties in the world.
But daydreams about possible spinoffs aside, this show is a hard one to think...

We're not getting a break from Station 19's family members making appearances.
One of the most exciting aspects of Station 19 Season 7 Episode 8 lies in a notable guest star.
The hour will also delve into another topical issue.
The upcoming installment will be one that heavily features Natasha Ross.
The chief has a lot on her plate as she deals with the constant shifts, financial restraints, and high demands of running the house and trying to keep everyone employed.
However, she also has her personal life to consider as she and Sullivan are planning to get married.
Oddly enough, because so much of her storyline revolves around whether or not she'd have to choose her career or love, there seem to be little to no lasting consequences of their relationship, which never should've been controversial in the first place.
No, with the series ending, they've focused on more positive...

Station 19 knows how to bring the pain, the laughter, and, yeah, even some frustration.
We got a healthy dose of all of the above with Station 19 Season 7 Episode 7, which was the epitome of a rollercoaster ride because they'd have you chuckling one minute and sniffling the next.
No one will ever accuse this series of not bringing all the emotions.
While they balanced out a couple of different things, Carina and Maya were at the forefront for the most part.
With Carina, they revisited the lawsuit that Wendy filed against her for the health issues her child faced, and with only a couple of installments of the series remaining, we needed that follow-up.
When they introduced that plot during Station 19 Season 7 Episode 2 , I wondered how they could address it again and wrap things up when the season has visibly shown signs of scrambling to land because of this unexpected cancelation.

The balance between medical cases and touches of personal storylines continues.
The interns were mostly endearing during Grey's Anatomy Season 20 Episode 7, but the connections to the medical cases were most compelling.
If it slipped anyone's mind that the new batch of interns has shades of the Og interns, then this installment was a reminder of how much Simone Griffith is her class' Meredith Grey.
Most of the season has focused on the interns simply navigating life at Grey Sloan.
And sometimes, we don't delve into their personal elements nearly as much as we should.
The balance between giving us more insight into these new characters and providing surface-level connections to medical cases has been challenging.
But the installment revisited not only the pain of Simone dealing with a grandmother with dementia who still looks at Simione and sees the daughter she lost but also Simone's harrowing backstory.

Since Station 19’s Ross is heading for a wedding, it was inevitable that we’d get to meet at least some of her family. And in the Thursday, May 16, episode of the sadly cancelled ABC drama (at 10/9c), Lost vet Yunjin Kim makes the first of her two appearances as Jeonghee “Jinny” Lee, the bride’s “full Korean sister,” per the network.
The character is described as being “very cross-cultural, well-educated and living full-time in Korea. She’s a woman at a crossroads and not comfortable with that uncertainty, so she spends her time fully knowing what everyone else should be doing with their lives.

If you are going to be a show about firefighters produced by the Shondaland banner, then you better be hot. Station 19 has delivered excellent drama, paid tribute to first responders, and given fans some extremely sexy scenes worthy of its production home. When TV Insider asked the cast of the ABC drama what their steamiest moment of the entire show was at the series wrap party, many of them said that the iconic Season 6 Maya (Danielle Savre) and Carina (Stefania Spampinato) shower scene or Travis’ (Jay Hayden) funeral hook up with Emmett (Lachlan Buchanan) in the Season 7 premiere took the cake. However, members of the Station 19 crew teased that fans haven’t actually seen the steamiest moment of the show yet. “We have one in Episode 7 coming up actually at the end of the episode, watch out for it. There is some steamy stuff happening,” co-showrunner Zoanne Clack told TV Insider.

And now, we'll address it head-on during Station 19 Season 7 Episode 6.
Vic has faced an onslaught of shakeups in her life, and to be frank, she never fully recovered from grieving Dean.
But she poured her all into Crisis One, and she's undoubtedly touched many lives and saved many, too.
That's why it was so devastating when she learned that the program her late friend had inspired would be shut down due to budget cuts and some twisted vendetta against Station 19 by the mayor.
It was the straw that broke the camel's back for Vic Hughes, who had been feeling so much that she was attempting to suppress it by not feeling anything at all.
She hasn't been handling things well, prompting some questionable behavior, including missing a...

Station 19 is coming to an end, and fans are on edge as they wait to find out how their favorite characters’ storylines will wrap up. At the top of that worry list may be Carina (Stefania Spampinato) and Maya (Danielle Savre), known collectively by the Station 19 fanbase as Marina. The couple almost split up in Season 6, but set about building their family after adopting an orphan baby, Liam, in the Season 7 premiere. It’s been a long road for the couple, full of ups and downs. For co-showrunner Peter Paige, they were the characters that brought him into the Station 19 world. “My first episode of the show was their engagement. That’s the first episode I directed, the one where they fight the whole time and then they end up getting engaged at the end,” Paige told TV Insider at the Station 19 series wrap party. “I...

Arizona Robbins brought a little bit of magic back to Grey's Anatomy.
The blonde Peds Goddess made a triumphant return during Grey's Anatomy Season 20 Episode 4, and while the interns weren't the least bit impressed with her ability to pull off a miracle.
It was hard for viewers not to be impressed with this fan-favorite character making a big return after her controversial departure during Grey's Anatomy Season 14.
For the most part, it was an understated return for her, and the vibe of the hour overall was as well.
But it was still a solid enough hour that delivered some nostalgia, even if it left us hanging about a few things.
One of our most pressing questions was whether Arizona and Callie found their way back to each other after she made the big move to the Big Apple to be closer to Sophia.
Shockingly, they didn't squeeze in a single...

We got a Pride-themed installment of Station 19.
Unfortunately, after Station 19 Season 7 Episode 3, our Round Table isn't feeling very prideful, as they express mixed feelings about how the series tackled the theme and who the hour centered.
The installment included a blast from the past when Maya saw her brother Mason protesting Pride and Travis and his father having a much-needed heart-to-heart.
Join our Station 19 Round Table, which is comprised of Ellie Mv, Heather M., and TV Fanatics Haley Whitmire White and Sara Trimble, as they break down the episode.
Join the discussion below.
If you had to grade the season so far, what would it be? What are you enjoying most about the season, and what are you struggling with most?
Ellie: Oh boy… *nervous laugh*
If I had to grade the season so far, it would be 0/10. I'm sorry, but this is the worst season the writers have ever written.

We're burning through so many storylines at the pace of a wildfire.
Of all the installments thus far, Station 19 Season 7 Episode 3 perfectly encapsulated how the truncated final season has resulted in the series attempting to cram a bunch of storylines into half the time.
And it's such an unfortunate thing. So many of the storylines we have right now deserve breathing room to develop properly.
If there were times during Station 19 Season 6 when it felt like storylines were dragging on too long, the current season has the opposite effect.
One's head is spinning from how many different things are introduced only to shift.
It's still a bit jarring how they shuffled Jack Gibson off into the sunset with little indication of his future. Based on our Grey Damon interview, it doesn't sound like we'll be finding out anything new about what Jack is up to anytime soon.

Maybe we should have seen it coming, back in Season 6 of Station 19. But when Vic made up “peer-to-peer assessments” as an excuse to check on alcoholic captain Beckett, who she feared was suicidal, we thought that she was just being her usual caring, compassionate self. And at the time, before Theo revealed himself to be an altogether awful boyfriend, perhaps that was all Hughes was doing.

Note: This story contains spoilers from the “Station 19” Season 7 premiere.
The seventh and final season premiere of “Station 19” revealed the fate of beloved firefighter Jack Gibson after he collapsed during the tragic accident at the firefighter’s ball in the previous finale. After performing emergency surgery and saving his life, Dr. Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone) broke the news to newly-promoted captain Andy Herrera (Jaina Lee Ortiz) that her friend and colleague sustained a life-altering brain injury that will bench him from field work permanently.
The episode, titled “This Woman’s Work,” ended with Jack waking up after surgery and congratulating Andy on her promotion — and asking when he would be back on duty.
New “Station 19” showrunners Peter Paige and Zoanne Clack — taking over after Krista Vernoff’s exit last season — teased that the twist doesn’t mean Jack (Grey Damon) will exit the series, but his journey...

Spoiler Alert: The following reveals major plot points from the Station 19 Season 7 premiere.
Station 19 returned tonight, airing the Season 7 premiere titled “This Woman’s Work,” and as everyone knows, this will be the final season of the firefighter drama created by Stacy McKee.
As sad as that is, let’s look at the positives, shall we? There are nine episodes left after the premiere, and there’s a whole journey ahead of us — and it’s going to be a bumpy ride.
Speaking of bumpy, Jack (Grey Damon) is in a really bad way as the episode opens with him in surgery. Andie (Jaine Lee Ortiz) — on her first official day as Captain — of course is there with him when Grey Sloane’s Amelia Shepard (Caterina Scorsone) steps out to share an update, and the news is good overall. Grey’s Anatomy spinoff Station 19 is coming to an end after seven seasons but not before one last big crossover with the mothership series, which may come at the end of the two series’ 10-episode runs, new Grey’s Anatomy showrunner Meg Marinis hinted in an interview with Deadline tied to the upcoming 20th season of the venerable medical drama, which premieres this Thursday, March 14.
She also teased upcoming appearances on Grey’s by the two Station 19 series regular characters who originated on the medical drama, Bailey’s husband Ben (Jason George) and Carina (Stefania Spampinato), indicating that Ben will remain part of the Grey’s Anatomy world.
“I haven’t read their last two episodes yet. I know generally where they’re going,” Marinis said when asked about the upcoming Station 19 crossover. “What I can tell you is that the Bailey and Ben relationship will continue to cross over.
